You place 1 anchor at the front of you boat and then the 2nd anchor at the rear of your boat and it will hold it in place all day long.  You screw the anchor into the sand a foot or two, or until you feel some resistance where you will just give it another couple turns and then the anchor is set and ready to connect to the boat. NOTE: These are for temporary daily use and not to hold your boat for a season in the water<br>Pole is special grade super strong plastic and the auger is military grade plastic that is strongest on the market. I use Stainless Steel hardware where possible and top line Marine Grade UV resistant bungee shock cord. The bungee dampens the up and down motion and does not stress your boats cleat hook.
